What does the IDL editor tool ?

Choose your CORBA distribution (see Useful links)

Define the name of your Rock's architecture module/package of the CORBA interfaces
Define your "real" objects names
Define your objects definitions (IDL language)
Define your head objects (see introduction's diagrams)
Define your Server and Client Names
Generate your Rock's Architecture project

User's manual

All along your data entry, errors are monitored by blinking in text field or messages

Choose an ORB distribution

1) Enter the package/module (be careful, you enter it once, can not be modified after entered an object name)
2) Enter the objects names then add it
3) Select the object name to remove
4) Define an object selected in the list (see next screen to define the selected object)

1) Define the object, refering to IDL language
2) You can look the IDL file, and register it if needed

1) Define header objects instances by selecting an object in the list and then push the "H servant" button to add an instance of it.
2) Define the Server and Client names
3) Enter your Email address
4) Proceed the generation (it takes several minutes), then take in the mail
5) You can modify your project with the back button and then proceed again
